  • The first edition of the Middle East Blockchain Awards was held in Abu Dhabi in November 2022, to recognise and reward outstanding efforts within the fields of blockchain and Web 3.0 innovations
     

  • Hoko Agency Middle East hosted the Awards, in association with Abu Dhabi Global Market's flagship platform, Abu Dhabi Finance Week; the Middle East, Africa and Asia Crypto and Blockchain Association (MEAACBA); and Arabian Business Magazine
     

  • All nominations assessed by a panel of prestigious experts. Judges included:

  • Supporting sponsors of the first MEBA include GEM Digital Limited, a digital asset investment firm; Abu Dhabi Residents Office, a division of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED); Inery Blockchain, a layer-1 blockchain solution offering decentralised database management solution, and Everdome, the digital frontier's first hyper-realistic metaverse
     

  • Over a span of a month MEBA managed to receive more than 100 nominations from 57 active companies in the field of blockchain including partners, sponsors, and nominees
     

  • MEBA hosted more than 250 attendees including Kevin O'Leary, Chairman of O'Leary Ventures and star of ABC's Shark Tank and Simon Murry, Orange Founder and Inery’s Chairman.
